Our Team

Genna Goins is a coordinator for the McSilver-led Training and Technical Assistance Center (TTAC) where she contributes to the implementation of evidence-based strategies and training for caregivers and healthcare professionals working with children from birth to five years of age and their families in New York in order to encourage healthy social and emotional development. Additionally, Genna supports the Pathways to Professional Development project, a state-wide program that supports perinatal and early childhood mental health professions throughout New York, and also contributes to collaboration with the Child and Adolescent Maltreatment Prevention Center (CHAMP Center).

Genna holds a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance with a double major in psychology from New York University. She has previously worked for numerous psychology research labs, contributing to their work relating to diversifying leadership, biases evident through eye tracking patterns when watching video evidence in court cases, and advocacy work. Genna also has experience working in the New Jersey Public School System

Genna is currently obtaining a Master of Social Work degree from New York University. In her free time, she remains an active freelance musician in the New York and Philadelphia regions, as well.
