Perinatal Mental Health
This training series provides early childhood and perinatal mental health practitioners with the specialized clinical, systemic, and trauma-informed tools necessary to navigate the complexities of the perinatal period. Through this curated playlist, you will explore the biological, emotional, and social transformations that accompany the transition to parenthood, while learning to identify and mitigate Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) and the impacts of trauma such as intimate partner violence. By blending evidence-based interventions like Perinatal Child-Parent Psychotherapy (PCPP) with trauma-informed fourth-trimester care, this series equips practicioners with learning skills to repair intergenerational trauma, advocate for 2-Gen systemic equity, and protect the foundational parent-infant attachment from pregnancy onward.
